Music fans in the vicinity of Moscow should make their way to B1 Maximum on Thursday night, as Galactic will be performing a one-off gig in the country, with Chali 2na making the trip as well. From there the band will travel to Teton Village, WY, to open their winter 2008 U.S. tour at the Mangy Moose Saloon, quite possibly making the band the first to jutxtapose a Moscow performance with a Mangy Moose gig. On Saturday Galactic appeared in its native New Orleans at Tipitinas, with the Gift of Gab, Boots Riley, the Soul Rebels Brass Band and Ivan Neville joining in over the course of the night.
