Bob Weir & RatDog confirmed the initial details regarding their upcoming spring tour. The group will hit the road on March 21 with an appearance at St. Paul, MNs O’Shaughnessy Auditorium, before making stops in Milwaukee, WI (3/22),Covington, KY (3/25), Royal Oak, MI (3/28), Syracuse, NY (3/29), Philadelphia (3/30), Stroudsburg, PA (4/1), New York (4/3-5) and Baltimore, MD (4/8-9). As previously reported, RatDog will also appear at the Wanee festival from April 11-12, alongside the Allman Brothers Band, Levon Helm, Govt Mule and several other ABB-family projects. While no official announcement has been made, it is believed that these shows will mark guitarist Mark Karans return to active duty after a long battle with cancer.

Weir has kept busy while at home. In addition to appearing with Phil Lesh and Mickey Hart earlier this week, the guitarist recently performed with the Marin County rock group Jelly at a The Friends of Fields benefit held at the Mill Valley Community Center. After
both Pat Nevins and Stu Allen took the stage with Jelly, Weir emerged for six songs, including Deep Elem Blues, Shakedown Street, Sugaree, Playing in the Band, Good Lovin’ and Brokedown Palace.
