Jeff Coffin has lined up some interesting side-projects to occupy his time while the Flekctones are on hiatus. On March 21 Coffin will perform with Aquarium Rescue Unit drummer Jeff Sipe at Charlotte, NCs Double Door Inn and, the following night, the pair will offer a duet performance a Ashevilles Stella Blue. From March 6-8 Coffin will also perform with his Flecktone bandmates Victor Wooten and Futureman, as well as Mike Seal, at Beavercreek, OHs Weekend of Jazz. Bela Fleck will appear with Chick Corea at Bostons Symphony Hall tomorrow.
