Uncle Earl has only a limited number of shows scheduled for the coming months, with the next announced date being June’s Telluride Bluegrass Festival. In the interim, the band’s KC Groves will occupy herself with a series of Colorado gigs. One intriguing performance will take place on March 21 at the Boulder Theatre. Spring Creek will headline the night, which will serve as the official release event for their Lonesome Way to Go disc. However, Groves will open with a quartet that also features Bill Nershi, Ben Kaufman and Dave Talmage. Next up for Groves is a show this Thursday night with the Lyons Road Agents where she will be joined by Talmage along with Ashleigh Caudill, Caleb Roberts and David Richey.
