Last night Widespread Panic opened its spring tour with the first of two nights in Washington. D.C. at the Warner Theater. The band took this opportunity to perform the entirety of its new Free Somehow release. Panic opened both of its sets with Free Somehow debuts: ‘Walk on the Flood’ and ‘Boom Boom Boom.’ The group also premiered takes of ‘Three Candles’ and ‘Dark Day Program’ during set one, followed by ‘Her Dance Needs No Body,’ ‘Already Fried’ and the title track during set two. In addition the band worked in Free Somehow’s ‘Angels on High,’ ‘Up All Night,’ ‘Flicker’ and ‘Tickle The Truth,’ all of which the group previously had performed in 2007.
