STS9 has announced that its next studio effort is on track for a July release. The quintet has named the disc peaceblaster and it will be the first studio recording from the group in over three years. Most of the tracks will focus on new material that the band has yet to perform in the live setting. The group remains off the road as it puts the finishing touches on the disc, with the next confirmed STS9 performance not until May 16 at the West Hollywood House of Blues.
