Current New Groove Jammy nominee Cornmeal spent the weekend opening for 2006 Jammy winner Tea Leaf Green. On Friday, the two groups performed at Chattanooga, TNs Rhythm and Brews where Cornmeal fiddler Allie Kral joined TLG onstage for Country Seduction, Zoom-Zoom and the evenings encore, Invasion. Kral and Cornmeal banjo player Dave Burlingame returned to the stage with Tea Leaf the following night at Athens, GAs 40 Watt Club, this time to play on Country Seduction and Devils Pay during the groups encore. Tea Leaf Green will open for Govt Mule at Glen Allen, VAs Innsbrook Pavilion on April 16, while Cornmeal will appear at Urbana, ILs Canopy Club this Friday.
