Last night, Galactic opened for Widespread Panic at Cincinnati, OHs US Bank Arena. The scene staples first hit the road together in 1998 as part of the Travelin’ Light Tour and have remained close ever since. As expected, last night members of the two groups shared the stage once again when Galactic saxophonist Ben Ellman took the stage with Panic during its second set for Goin’ Out West, shortly before Stanton Moore participated in one of Panics trademark drum segments. Galactic will perform at Torontos Lee’s Place this evening, while Widespread Panic will begin a multi-night run at Chicagos Auditorium Theatre tomorrow.
