The Black Crowes will hit 90 cities across the U.S. and Canada before the end of 2008 in support of the new studio album, Warpaint. The extended tour will consist of three legs, the first of which is scheduled to kick off at Hershey, PAs Hershey Stadium on June 27 and run through an August 18 appearance at Jackson Hole WYs Jackson Hole Jazz & Heritage Festival. The second leg of the groups journey will run from an August 29 show at Milwaukee WIs 105th Harley Davidson Celebration through a September 19 date at Santa Barbara CA, while the third leg of the extended outing will be bookended by an October 5 show at Alpharetta GAs Verizon Wireless Amphitheatre and a November 18 spot at New Orleans LAs House Of Blues. The Black Crowes will then close their mammoth tour with a series of shows at San Franciscos The Fillmore leading up to Chris Robinsons birthday on December 20. Along the way, the group will also offer its first stateside acoustic performances at New Yorks intimate Town Hall on November 3 and 4.
