Last year the Bonnaroo Music and Arts Festival debuted a new concert space dubbed Somethin’ Else, which presented jazz music. This year the room will be transformed into a New Orleans-themed venue with a charitable component. The roster of performers all will have ties to the Crescent City, with Porter-Batiste-Stoltz, Ivan Neville’s Dumpstaphunk, Henry Butler and the Game Band, Dirty Dozen Brass Band, Walter ‘Wolfman’ Washington, Anders Osborne, Big Sam’s Funky Nation, Trombone Shorty and Orleans Avenue, Soul Rebels Brass Band and Morning 40 Federation currently scheduled to appear. In addition, Regional cuisine will be offered and donations will be collected at the entrance, with proceeds directed to a range of New Orleans charities. Bonnaroo will return to Manchester, TN, on June 12-15.
