The Trinumeral is a yearly music and arts festival on the date in which the day, month, and year align in an auspicious numeric sameness. The festival began on January 1, 2001 and has since expanded to become a multidisciplinary event held on the synchronized dates every year. The eighth annual event will take place in Deerfields, NC from August 8-10, featuring performances by Galactic and Boots Riley, Lotus, Kaki King, Midnite, Danny Bedrosian and Secret Army, Yo Mama’s Big Fat Booty Band, Dubconscious, The Mahavishnu Project, Gavin McGowen, Stephanie’s Id, Laura Reed and Deep Pocket, Custard Pie, SeepeopleS and Jar-e, among others. In addition, Michael Kang will join his former bandmates in EOTO for a special set of music. The event will also feature a visual art component, including live painting by Lebo.
