Former New Groove of the Month Toubab Krewe will spend July 4th weekend playing a handful of shows in Alaska. The groups trip to the 49th state arrives partway through a busy summer that includes appearances across the country and also overseas. Joining the group for many of its Southeast shows will be special guest Rayna Gellert, a world renowned fiddle player best known as a member of Uncle Earl. On July 12 Toubab Krewe is also slated to headline Cabot, VTs Festivus for the Restivus, an annual event organized by Toubab Krewe bassist David Pransky.
