Fender will celebrate its 50th Anniversary with an all-star Jazzmaster concert on September 12. Many of the evenings performers will straddle the line between jazz and indie-rock, including Wilcos Nels Cline, Televisions Tom Verlaine, Sonic Youths Thurston Moore and Dinosaur Jr.s J Mascis. Performance painter Norton Wisdom and the indie-rock band Edison Glass will also be on hand throughout the evening. Meanwhile, Wilco will open its summer tour at Fairbanks, AKs The Blue Loon on July 25.
