Last night, we reported on moe.s July 5th collaborations with The Bridge at Asbury Park, NJs The Stone Pony. U-Melt supported the group at the same venue a night earlier and brought out Al Schnier for a version of Jacob’s Ladder. Earlier in the evening, U-Melt also nodded to Schnier by teasing Rebubula during The Fantastical Flight of Captain Delicious.

Last Thursday, moe. performed at Garretsville, OHs Nelson Ledges Quarry. The weekend-long festivities featured a number of intriguing acts, including the Mickey Hart Band, George Clinton and P-Funk, Cornmeal, U-Melt, Chef Dave Band and a number of ekoostik hookah offshoots. In addition to playing with the Chef Dave Band, former Allman Brothers Band keyboardist Johnny Neel played moog on a version of Happy Hour Hero at the end of the groups first set. Soon after, Cornmeals Allie Kral took the stage to play some fiddle with the group on September. moe. will play a free show at Lewiston, NYs Artpark on July 9.
