In addition to all the announced artists there will be a new presence at this year’s Camp Bisco. ABC News will be on hand with its 20/20 program to produce a feature on the festival’s involvement with Headcount. Biscuits bassist Marc Brownstein, the co-founder of HeadCount, states in a press release, ‘It is really exciting to see both HeadCount and Camp Bisco having such growth in a year where other festivals are getting smaller and other voter registration organizations are absent from the process of working the concert scene. We look forward to this being the best year yet for both the festival and for HeadCount.’
In other Camp Bisco news, the performance schedule is now online at www.campbisco.net. In addition, the scheudle also will be available via the fest’s Camp Bisco Mobile powered by buzzd, which also will offer real-time updates from backstage, contests, and more. Camp Bisco VII will return to Mariaville, NYs Indian Lookout Country Club on July 17-19.
