Last night at the Lifestyle Communities Pavilion in Columbus, OH, Tea Leaf Green opened a show for Gov’t Mule. Following their set, Tea Leaf hung out to enjoy some Mule and two members of the group stepped out onto the stage as well. At the close of the first set, Josh Clark and Trevor Garrod contributed guitar and keys to covers of ‘Get Out My Life Woman’ (Allen) and ‘Waiting For My Man’ (Velvet Underground). Then at the evening’s close a bit later Clark re-emerged for the ‘Cortez the Killer’ encore. Both groups are off tonight, while TLG will open for Mickey Hart on Thursday in Buffalo and Gov’t Mule will perform at the South Shore Music Circus in Cohasset, MA.
