moe. offered a pair of performances at Empire, MIs Dunegrass Festival over the weekend and brought out some special guests each night. On Friday, the group invited out Cornmeal fiddler Allie Kral for a run through Conviction Song, a number she has appeared on a handful of times throughout 2008. The following night a slew of additional guests also took the stage with the group, including Del McCoury, Jason Carter and Drew Emmitt, who sat in on a unique version of Okayalright, and keyboardist Jesse Clayton of the Michigan-based band Macpodz, who helped the group close its set with a take on Timmy Tucker. moe. is off the road until moe.down, which is scheduled to run from August 29-31.
