Robert Plant continued to explore his recent fascination with roots-music this weekend at Fairport Convention’s annual Cropredy Convention. The folk festival has been held each year in August since the early 1970s in the village of Cropredy in Oxfordshire, England. While onsite, Plant sat in with Kristina Donahue during her set on a version of Led Zeppelins Battle of Evermore. During his performance, he also honored the memory of Sandy Denny, who

sang the classic selection with Plant on Led Zeppelin’s untitled fourth album 37-years-ago. Plant’s tribute to Denny also included a photo montage of the singer later on in the weekend. Report by Randy Ray
