On Saturday night in Dallas, My Morning Jacket continued its tour in support of Evil Urges. The band offered up most of the tracks from that release during a show that offered a twenty-one song set followed by a seven song encore. The encore also proved notable as MMJ took the stage with Erykah Badu for a version of her song ‘Tyrone.’ The group covered the song early in its career (‘Tyrone’ appears on Early Recordings, Chapter 2: Learning) and recently placed it back into rotation at Bonnaroo.
My Morning Jacket is next slated to perform on Wednesday at the Fox Theater in Atlanta.
