The New Deal first performed together in September 1998 (just as Jambands.com debuted on the web). On September 6 the trio will celebrate its tenth anniversary with an intimate show in its native Toronto. The gig at Lee’s Palace and will be recorded for posterity (and presumably, a future release). A bit later in September, The New Deal’s Darren Shearer and Jamie Shield will perform two dates as the Omega Moos, with Umphrey’s McGee’s Brendan Bayliss and Ryan Stasik. The Omega Moos will appear at Bloomington, IN’s Bluebird Nightclub on Friday September 26 and Chicago’s Metro/Smart Bar on Saturday September 27.
