Trey Anastasio has confirmed his first extended tour since 2006. The former Phish guitarist will hit the road for a series of dates with his solo band, beginning with a performance at Port Chester, NYs Capitol Theatre on October 13. From there, the Phish guitarist will make stops in Wallingford, CT (10/17), Albany, NY (10/18), South Burlington, VT (10/19), Providence, RI (10/21), Boston (10/23), Philadelphia (10/24) and Richmond, VA (10/25). Classic Trey Anastasio Band members Russ Lawton (drums), Tony Markellis (bass) and Ray Paczkowski (keyboards) will round out the guitarist’s band.

Of special note is Anastasios upcoming appearance at Port Chesters Capitol Theatre, a venue Phish played seven times between 1990 and 1992. The group’s performance at the 1,8000-person venue are among Phishs most famous early gigs, particularly the band’s October 6, 1990 opening spot for Blues Traveler. Anastasio will also debut his orchestral piece Time Turns Elastic at Nashville, TNs Ryman Auditorium on September 27.
