Steve Molitz, Zac Lasher and Rob Salzer Join The Breakfast

This past weekend, The Breakfast performed in Colorado as a trio, where guitarist Tim Palmieri also did some double duty, sitting in for missing keyboard player Matt Oestreicher. During these gigs, the group enlisted some of the musicians who shared the bills to share the stage as well. As we noted yesterday, on Thursday, Particle keyboardist Steve Molitz appeared for a version of his group’s ‘Metropolis.’ Then on Friday at Dulcinea’s 100th Monkey, U-Melt’s Zac Lasher lent keys to ‘Hard Luck Harry.’ Finally, on Saturday at Quixote’s True Blue, Molitz returned and U-Melt guitarist Rob Salzer also stepped up for a cover of Phish’s ‘You Enjoy Myself’ as well as Breakfast original ‘Gladys Pimp and Kangaroos with Me.’

Oestreicher is now back on the road with The Breakfast, performing through October 25, after which RAQ’s Todd Stoops will close out the year with the band.
