The latest band to confirm its New Years Eve plans isSoulive. The trio will return home to Boston for a two-night run at its old haunt the Paradise on December 30 and 31. As previously reported, the group recently spent time in the studio working on its first album since 2007s No Place Like Soul. Soulives longtime friend Sam Kinninger appears on the disc and may very well also join the core trio on New Years Eve.

In addition, guitarist Eric Krasno has confirmed a handful of new solo shows. On October 23, Krasno will perform with the Dr. Claw supergroup at New Orleans famed Tipitina’s French Quarter. Kraz will then stay in the Big Easy for performances Adam Deitch, Marco Benevneto and Kirk Joseph at the Bile Nile on October 24 and 25. Finnally, hell return to New York in time to perform with his own Eric Krasno Band at Sullivan Hall on November 6.
