The Slip’s Andrew Barr had been slated to tour with Marco Benevento over three days in early November. However, Barr was forced to step away after his current tour with the group Land Of Talk was extended by a few days. Moving behind the kit in his stead will be Jon Fishman. Fishman will join Benevento and bassist Reed Mathis four four gigs on November 7-10 in Hartford (Real Art Ways, 11/7), New York City (Drom, 11/8), Teaneck, NJ (a newly added show at Mexicali Live, 11/9) and Burlington (FlynnSpace, 11/10). Benevento’s trio for the three dates that follow remains intact as Mathis and Barr’s bandmates, JFJO drummer Josh Raymer and Slip bass player Marc Friedman, will join in for shows in Boston (11/12, Cafe 939), Northampton (11/13, Iron Horse), Fall River (11/14, Narrows Center For The Arts) and Philadelphia (11/16, World Cafe Live).
