Gregg Allman will close out the year with his first solo tour in some time. The Allman Brothers Band keyboardist will kick things off at Westbury, NYs Capital One Bank Theatre on December 27, before making stops at New Bedford, MAs Zeiterion Theatre (12/28), Ridgefield, CTs Ridgefield Playhouse (12/30) and Glenside, PAs Keswick Theater (12/31). Allmans tour will then continue into 2009 with stops at New Yorks Blender Theater (1/2-3), Annapolis, MDs Rams Head On Stage (1/5), Falls Church, VAs State Theater (1/6), Montclair, NJs Wellmont Theatre (1/8), Harrisburg, PAs Whitaker Center and Salamanca, NYs Seneca Allegany Casino & Hotel (1/10).

For this tour Allmans band will consist of Bruce Katz (keyboard), Jerry Jemmott (bass), Steve Potts (drums), Mark McGee (guitar), Jay Collins (sax) and Floyd Miles (percussion). The keyboardist recently completed his first amphitheatre run with the Allman Brothers Band since undergoing treatments for Hepatitis C. I feel great, Allman said. We did about 20 shows this summer and we were really hitting it.
