The members of The Black Crowes have cancelled their October 30 appearance at New Yorks Hammerstein Ballroom. The group was previously scheduled to play four shows at the ballroom, the official site of The Black Crowes 2005 reunion. According to a statement from the band, the appearance has been cancelled due to a scheduling conflict. Fans holding tickets for the canceled October 30 show will be able to use their tickets for The Black Crowes shows on either October 27, 28 or 31 at the Hammerstein Ballroom or be issued a refund from the original place of purchase.

A diverse mix of artists will open for The Black Crowes in New York next week: Buffalo Killers (10/27), Howlin Rain (10/28) and Patti Smith (10/31). It is not known whether The Black Crowes will offer a mini-set of covers on Halloween as in years past.
