Last night, Scott Metzger performed with New York’s indie-rockers Sam Champion throughout the group’s entire CMJ set at Brooklyn, NY’s The Bell House. The guitarist was filling in for absent guitarist Sean Sullivan. As some readers may recall, Sam Champion was co-founded by RANA drummer Ryan Thornton and former RANA tour manager Noah Chernin. Since he did not have an electric guitar of his own, Chernin actually borrowed Metzger’s at Sam Champion’s first show several years ago. The band will next appear at New York’s Bowery Ballroom on November 16.
