Rising jamband The Brew spent Halloween at Unity, MEs Unity Center. As our friends at Hidden Track first reported, the groups two-set performance paid tribute to a variety of video game themes, including the music from Tetris, Sonic Adventure 2, The Legend of Zelda and the various installments in the Mario Brothers Saga.

A few days earlier, The Brew shared a bill with New Jerseys BuzzUniverse at Asbury Park NJs The Saint (BuzzUniverse and the Brew were back-to-back New Grooves of the Month in 2007). During BuzzUniverses performance, Brew guitarist David Drouin took the stage for the original You & Me. In addition, singer

Rosie Lazroe, who opened the evening with The Jack, sang backup on a cover of the standard Turn on Your Lovelight. BuzzUniverse then celebrated Halloween at Kearny NJs Donegal Saloon by offering a series of rare songs and covers, including BauhausBela Lugosi’s Dead.
