On the eve of this year’s Rothbury festival, Umphreys McGee’s Kris Myers reunited with his former Kick the Cat bandmate Chris Clemente. The two were joined by Umphreys McGees Jake Cinninger and Joel Cummins for a show at the Intersection in Grand Rapids, Michigan billed as Kick The McGee. On Wednesday November 13, the four musicians will do it again. Kick the McGee will appear in the musicians’ home base of Chicago at Martyrs’. Then on Thursday the 14th, Umphrey’s McGee will return to the road with a show in Urbana, Illinois at The Canopy Club.
