While Galactic has only one show on its tour itinerary for 2008, three of its members will gig out this weekend. Tonight in Austin at the Parish, the Stanton Moore Trio will appear, with the drummer joined by guitarist Will Bernard and keyboard player Robert Walter. Then on Saturday in New Orleans, Robert Mercurio, and Jeff Raines will perform with their Good Enough For Good Times quartet which also features Simon Lott and Joe Ashlar. Jumping ahead two weeks, both groups will once again will find themselves on stage, with Moore performing additional Texas gigs, while Good Enough For Good Times will be in Mississippi. As for Galactic, the group will come together once again on December 31 at Tipitina’s with an expanded horn section featuring Shamarr Allen on trumpet and Corey Henry.
