As previously reported, Umphreys McGee will hold off from playing any of the material from its forthcoming album Mantis until the discs January 20 release. Shortly after that, the group will hit the road for an extended tour that will stretch into April with only a few breaks. The outing will begin with a previously confirmed run through Colorado from January 22-24, before moving to Minneapolis, MN for a three-night run at the First Avenue from January 30-February 1. Umphreys McGee will then snake through the Midwest, South and Northeast, making stops in Madison, WI (2/12-15), Atlanta (2/19-20), Asheville, NC (2/21), Charlotte, NC (2/22), Birmingham, AL (3/4-5),

Detroit (3/12), Indianapolis (3/13-14), Tulsa, OK (3/23), Lawrence, KS (3/26),
St. Louis, MO (3/27), Memphis, TN (3/28), Buffalo, NY (4/1), Wilmington, DE (4/2),
Jim Thorpe, PA (4/3), Baltimore, MD (4/4), New Haven, CT (4/5),
