Warren Haynes Presents: The 20th Anniversary of Christmas Jam will take place next weekend at Asheville, NCs Asheville Civic Center. Buddy Cage and Ron Holloway are the latest additions to the roster of musicians who will participate over the course of the weekend, joining such artists as: John Paul Jones, Travis Tritt, Col. Bruce Hampton, Karl Denson, Patterson Hood, JJ Grey, Eric Krasno, Robben Ford, Ruthie Foster, Kevn Kinney and Roosevelt Collier. Performing at the Civic Center on December 12 will be the Allman Brothers Band, The Del McCoury Band, The Derek Trucks Band, Ivan Neville’s Dumpstaphunk and Joan Osborne. December 13 will feature Gov’t Mule, Ben Harper and Relentless7, Steve Earle, Michael Franti with Jay Bowman Acoustic, Johnny Winter and Osborne. The weekend also includes The Comedy Jam, film screenings, an art show and Christmas Jam by Day performances. All proceeds from the event will be donated to Habitat For Humanity.

Following the Christmas Jam, Gov’t Mule will close out 2008 with a four show New Year’s Eve run in New York City, moving from the Angel Orensanz Center (December 27, 28) to the Hammerstein Ballroom (December 30, 31). In addition, the group has announced two dates from its forthcoming Kinder Revolution Spring ’09 Tour, which will carry the band to Denver’s Fillmore Auditorium on February 13 and then to Dobson Arena in Vail, CO on February 14.
