Langerado has confirmed that its initial artist lineup will now be announced at 11 AM, December 9. The seventh annual festivals lineup was scheduled to go live this evening, but will now be confirmed late Tuesday morning. A statement from the festival said, We apologize for the delay in announcing the 2009 lineup. Please bear with us while we finalize a few last minute details. We will be announcing our initial 2009 artist lineup at 11am EST on Tuesday December 9th. We appreciate your continued support of Langerado and look forward to an another incredible Spring in South Florida!

As previously reported, the multi-band event will take place at Miamis Bicentennial Park from March 6-8. Previous festival headlines have included R.E.M., Beastie Boys, Phil Lesh & Friends, Widespread Panic, Ben Harper, Trey Anastasio, the Black Crowes, Cake and Wilco, among many others.

Patterson Hood, Col. Bruce Hampton, U-Melt, the Lee Boys and Arizona Confirmed for Christmas Jam By Day

As previously reported, Warren Haynes annual Christmas Jam will take place at Asheville, NCs Civic Center this Friday and Saturday. In addition, Christmas Jam By Day will return to downtown Asheville. A variety of bands will perform at the Stella Blue, The Emerald Lounge and Jack of The Wood on both Friday and Saturday, while a series of films will be screened from Thursday-Saturday at the Fine Arts Theater. An art show will also run throughout the weekend at The Satellite Gallery.
Bands confirmed to appear at the Stella Blue include Inca Maya, Jennie Arnau, U-Melt, The Lee Boys, Ivan Neville’s Dumpstaphunk, Yonrico Scott Band, Milestone, Sons of Bill, Elmwood Band, Blackberry Smoke, The London Souls and Year Long Disaster. Meanwhile, Joltwagon, Pierce Edens & The Dirty Work, Floating Action, Arizona,
Girls Guns & Glory, Terry Flynn, The Josh Pillips Trio, Tennessee Hollow, Velvet Truckstop, Bandazian and Wayne Robbins & The Hellsayers will all take the stage at the The Emerald Lounge at various points Friday or Saturday.
Christmas Jam regular Kevn Kinney will also host an acoustic Christmas Jam throughout the weekend at Jack of the Wood that promises appearances by Col. Bruce Hampton, Patterson Hood, Robert Kearns, Abrams Brothers, Jennie Arnau, Chris Stamey Trio, Thad Cockrell, Shelly Colvin, Anton Fier, Audley Freed, Keith Gattis, Ray Sisk and many others.
