After spending much of the past year gigging with other groups, Steve Kimock has announced that he will return to the stage with a new band in 2009. The Steve Kimock Crazy Engine will push the limits of rock and roll, rhythm and blues, gospel and soul for undeniably feel-good music. The group will be a sextet although as yet only longtime Jerry Garcia Band keyboard player Melvin Seals is a confirmed member of the group. Folks likely will some flavor of what is to follow on December 30 and 31 when Kimock sits in with Melvin Seals & JGB at Owsleys Golden Road in Denver.
