The Disco Biscuits have released some additional information regarding its long-awaited new studio album. The band is currently working on 15 new songs, including five hip-hop-influenced numbers produced by Grammy winners Don Cheegro & Dirty Harry, five electronica cuts produced by British electronic music luminaries Simon Posford and Benji Vaughan and five more traditional Disco Biscuits songs. In addition, the album features production work by American Babies/Brothers Past singer Tom Hamilton and collaborations with additional lyricists. None of the songs slated for inclusion on the album have been performed live, though the group has added a few outtake tracks like The Autumn Breeze to its repertoire.

The band revealed the details about its new album during a series of loose, candid video interviews with Relixs Cold Turkey last night . The Disco Biscuits will close the year with another performance at the Nokia Theatre this evening.
