Buffalo Creek Music Festival will return to Lexington, VAs Zollman’s Pavilion from May 22-23. The 17th annual event is organized by the students at Washington & Lee University each spring and has showcased the likes of moe., Merle Saunders, Col. Bruce Hampton and the Aquarium Rescue Unit; Ominous Seapods, the Disco Biscuits, Keller Williams, Brothers Past, Lake Trout, Tim Reynolds, Lotus, Hackensaw Boys and the Benevento-Russo Duo over the years (while we are at it, the student-run events organizers have also included noted scene photographer C. Taylor Crothers and Relix/Jambands.coms very own Cole Boyle back in their undergraduate days). This years festivities will continue the trend, boasting appearances by rising jam-stars Tea Leaf Green, The Bridge, Big Sam’s Funky Nation, The Heavy Pets, Larry Keel and Natural Bridge,Farm Vegas, The Hot Seats and The Deer Creek Boys.
