Neil Young will perform at the 40th annual New Orleans Jazz & Heritage

Festival. JazzFest has also confirmed a handful of additional artists, including New Jersey-bred rocker Bon Jovi. In other talent news, the Festival has confirmed that Aretha Franklin has bowed out of her previously confirmed appearance.
As previously reported, the annual event will take place from April 24-26 and April 30-May 3 at New Orleans Fair Grounds Race Course. Other confirmed acts include Wynton Marsalis, Bon Jovi, Dave Matthews Band, James Taylor, Sugarland, Joe Cocker, Ben Harper, Tony Bennett, Earth, Wind & Fire, Kings of Leon, Neville Brothers, Wilco, Bonnie Raitt, Allen Toussaint, Booker T. and the DBTs, The OJays, Erykah Badu, Maze featuring Frankie Beverly and Dr. John, among others. Since he is featured on Booker T. Jones new album with the Drive-By Truckers, Young may also sit in with the keyboardist during his set with the Truckers.
