Starting on April 11, mandolin ace David Grisman will join the current incarnation of Jefferson Starship for a series of dates. The first show will take place at Hopmonk in Sebastopol, CA after which the group will head to the East Coast for a run of shows through April 22. Joining Grisman will be Starship mainstay Paul Kantner along with David Freiberg, (Quicksilver Messenger Service) vocalist Cathy Richardson, drummer Donny Baldwin and keyboardist/bassist Chris Smith, who has performed with Jefferson Starship since the late 90s.
