This past October Bill Kreutzmann welcomed Papa Mali to Hawaii and joined him for a few shows. In May the two musicians will resume their acquaintance as they perform at Festi Di Bella Madre. As previously reported, the event will take place at Geneva, MNs Harmony Park from May 22-24. EOTO will perform at the pre-party event on Thursday May 21, while the festival roster also includes: Tea Leaf Green, Bassnectar, Del tha Funky Homosapien, New Monsoon, Moonalice, The Big Wu, God Johnson, Chicago Afrobeat Project and The Histronic. In addition, Bella Madre has announced that in order to keep music playing all night long despite a local noise ordinance, 300 wireless headsets will be made available for free on a first come first serve basis (although there will be an opportunity for festivalgoers to purchase headset reservations for all 3 nights).
