Beginning last November, former Widespread Panic guitarist George McConnell began releasing songs in a ‘Virtual 45’ format on his website, offering up two at a time, much like the A side / B side mode of an old-school vinyl single. McConnell will now collect all of these songs for a full-length disc entitled Singles Only. This offering is set for a May 12 release, which McConnell and his group The Nonchalants will anticipate with a series of shows across the south. Tonight the band is in Augusta, GA at Sky City for a gig with Bloodkin.
