As many of our readers have likely have heard by now, some enterprising folks tracked down the location of the farm that appears via Google Earth in the Phish Summer Tour video now featured on the group’s website. Rumors began to swirl about a potential summer festival at the central Texas locale, no matter how unlikely this proposed event seems, in term of infrastructure and area fan base. Still some folks took sufficient stock in the story to place phone calls to local officials as well as the farmer who owns the land. Over the weekend, a news report on Fox Affiliate KTBC, interviews John Fagot, who owns the farm and explains that his daughter created the video but that his relationship with Phish extends no further, with no festival on the horizon.
