Colorado’s Jazz Aspen Snowmass has confirmed the initial lineups for

its two annual festivals. JAS’ June Festival has expanded into a ten
day event which will include three nights of jazz music at the
Benedict Music Tent (June 18-20), weekly paid and free performances
from JAS Academy Bands and a closing weekend of small venue shows in
clubs and restaurants all around downtown Aspen (June 25-27).
Confirmed performances include: Al Jarreau, Smokey Robinson, Chris
Botti, Esperanza Spalding, Jamie Cullum and Naturally7, among others.
The festival’s Labor Day offerings will be held from in Snowmass Town Park from September 4-6
featuring the more jam-friendly lineup of The Allman Brothers Band,
The Doobie Brothers, Drive-By Truckers, Umphrey’s McGee, Michael
Franti & Spearhead, Citizen Cope and the Black Eyed Peas. Several
artists will be added to each festival in the coming months.
