Veteran country-rock bandleader Commander Cody will release his first studio album of original material, Dopers, Drunks, and Everyday Losers, this coming Tuesday. The album recalls his days with Lost Planet Airmen and is said to offer a similar brand of old-time rock ‘n’ roll, redneck country, boogie woogie and swing. The album was recorded in the Woodstock LRS Studios with Professor Louie of the CrowmatiX. In addition to several news songs, Dopers, Drunks, and Everyday Losers is said to include reworked material from the Commanders back catalogue. Commander Cody will perform at New Yorks BB Kings Blues Club tomorrow.
