Although tickets for Lollapalooza 2009 have been on sale for a few weeks now, the festival has finally confirmed this year’s line-up. Festival founder Perry Farrell will return with Jane’s Addiction, the group that headlined the very first Lollapalooza in 1991, back when it was a traveling event. Also slated to appear at this years’ fest are: Tool, Beastie Boys, Depeche Mode, The Killers, Kings of Leon, Ben Harper and Relentless7, Lou Reed, STS9, The Decemberists, TV on the Radio, Thievery Corporation, Snoop Dogg, Vampire Weekend, Fleet Foxes, Andrew Bird, Rise Against, Silversun Pickups, Gomez, Cold War Kids, Arctic Monkeys, Coheed and Cambria, Animal Collective, Neko Case, Of Montreal and many others. Lollapalooza will return to Chicago’s Grant Park on August 7-9 with ticket details and the complete line-up available at the Lollapaloza website.
