Over 200,000 people attended the 2008 Green Apple Festival, which took place over the weekend. Later today folks can re(visit) the event via a two hour broadcast of the festival, which will feature performances, speeches and interviews. MySpaces Impact Channel will stream Green Apple at 8:00 PM EST today with highlights from ‘America’s largest Earth Day celebration’ which took place in New York City (Central Park), Chicago IL (Lincoln Park Zoo), Miami FL (Bicentennial Park), Denver CO (City Park), Dallas TX (Fair Park), San Francisco CA (Golden Gate Park), Los Angeles CA (Santa Monica Pier) and Washington DC on the National Mall. In addition to local speakers, television talent from Discovery Networks new Planet Green channel emceed Green Apple events Boise Thomas (Los Angeles), Jodi Murphy (Chicago), Summer Rayne Oakes (San Francisco) and Annabelle Gurwitch (New York).
