Toubab Krewe is slated to perform two shows on Friday in the group’s hometown of Ashville. In the evening, the band will headline a gig at the Orange Peel with Jar-e and DJ Chalice also on the bill. A bit earlier, however, the group will deliver a benefit performance at MoDaddy’s in support of the Bob Moog Foundation, which is working to create a Bob Moog Museum in Asheville. For this set the group ‘will utilize a custom tailored rig of Moog instruments and effect modules provided by The Bob Moog Foundation to perform a unique set of improvisational music.’ The Mooged-Out benefit will take place from 5-8 PM and afterwards the musicians will be available for a meet-and-greet and signing of a limited edition commemorative poster.
