Pearl Jam, Dave Matthews Band and the Beastie Boys will headline Austin City Limits this October. The three bandsówho curiously enough will also anchor San Franciscoís Outside Landsótop off a bill that also features appearances by festival favorites Kings of Leon, Ben Harper and Relentless7, Thievery Corporation and The Levon Helm Band. In addition, this installment of ACL will boast Medeski, Martin & Wood, STS9 (Sound Tribe Sector 9), Bassnectar, Sonic Youth, The Avett Brothers, Girl Talk , Michael Franti & Spearhead, John Legend, Jack Whiteís new The Dead Weather project and Mos Def, as well as local heros Ghostland Observatory and Reckless Kelly. Other acts scheduled to appear include: Toadies, Flogging Molly, The B-52s, Lily Allen, Citizen Cope, Arctic Monkeys, The Decemberists, Coheed and Cambria, Andrew Bird, Phoenix, Bon Iver, !!!, The Airborne Toxic Event, Clutch, Grizzly Bear, Heartless Bastards, Passion Pit, White Lies, Dan Auerbach, The Walkmen, The Scabs, Devotchka, Blitzen Trapper, The Virgins, Here We Go Magic, Eek-A-Mouse, K’Naan, Asleep at the Wheel, Dr. Dog, The Raveonettes, The Knux, Black Joe Lewis & the Honeybears, State Radio, Los Amigos Invisibles, The Felice Brothers, Federico Aubele, Raul Malo, Daniel Johnston, Poi Dog Pondering, Brett Dennen, Rodriguez, Henry Butler, Preservation Hall, Sam Roberts Band, The Greencards, Sara Watkins, Walter ‘Wolfman’ Washington, David Garza and John Vandersl. As previously reported, the event will return to Austinís Zilker Park from October 2-4, 2009.
