Levon Helm hosted the latest Midnight Ramble this past Saturday a the barn/studio attached to his home in Woodstock, NY. Throughout the night, the former Band drummer was joined by steady collaborators Larry Campbell, Amy Helm, Teresa Williams, Steven Bernstein, Howard Johnson, Brian Mitchell and Erik Lawrence. In addition, however, Steely Dan Donald Fagen appeared as special guest on keyboards. Fagen played quietly in the shadows for most of the night, but did take center stage his own Black Friday and The Bands King Harvest. In addition, The Rosedale Heights School of the Arts Band took the stage for the Band staples Ophelia and The Weight. Fagen is married to Libby Titus, Levon Helms former partner and the mother of his daughter Amy.
