Trey Speaks in the Senate Building, Preps for Show with Baltimore Symphony Orchestra
A limited number of tickets have been released for Trey’ Anastasios upcoming performance with the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra. As previously reported, the event will take place at Balitmore’s Joseph Meyerhoff Symphony Hall on May 21. The Phish guitarist will join Music Director Marin Alsop and the BSO for orchestrations of classic Phish tunes and the East Coast premiere of his composition, Time Turns Elastic, at the Joseph Meyerhoff Symphony Hall.
As we reported yesterday, Anastasio spoke at the Dirksen Senate Office Building last night. The evening celebrated the 20th anniversary of the Drug Court program that Anastasio completed last year. The guitarist spoke at length about his experiences in the program but did not perform. He also revealed that he will play a concert at Carnegie Hall with the New York Philharmonic this September.
