The Disco Biscuits Play Chemical Warfare Brigade Rock Opera

Last night, the Disco Biscuits found themselves in Providence, RI for a performance at Lupos Heartbreak Hotel. The band opened with Marc Brownsteins Home Again and Rockafella and then proceeded to offer

a complete performance of the bassists the Chemical Warfare Brigade rock opera. Brownstein wrote the opera during a hiatus from the Disco Biscuits in 2000 and had performed the opera four times since before last night. Helicopters, Shadow and the end portion of Confrontation closed out the groups second set, and the quarter returned for the double encore of Tamarin Alley and Mulberry’s Dream. The Disco Biscuits will play a free show in Buffalo, NYs Lafayette Square this evening.
